We believe that an awesome company culture encourages everybody to reach their full potential.
Strategy and culture are two key levers in the quest to sustain a company’s viability and effectiveness. Strategy provides clarity and focus for collective action and decision making.
Culture is a more elusive lever as it is anchored in unspoken behaviours, mindsets, and social patterns. We believe that when culture aligns with personal values, drives, and needs, it can unleash tremendous amounts of energy toward a shared purpose and foster the capacity to thrive.
Culture is the heart and soul of a company: It breathes life into the company through shaping attitudes and influencing and directing lasting behaviours. It will define what is encouraged, discouraged, accepted, or rejected by people who are engaged by, or with, the company.
Work should be an enjoyable experience spent with people who you would like to spend time with.
We have a training budget – let’s use it…
Encourage and support the wellness of each person as it will assist with their motivation. Every meeting begins with a quick ‘Check In‘ which is broken into ‘I’ – ‘WE’ – ‘IT’.
I – this is about how you are as a person, how is life going for you? This gives the other team members some background on how your day or week has been.
This isn’t to find out intimate details about our lives, it is more about bringing some humanness to quality and quantity of the workload.
WE – this is all about the team that the call or meeting is about. How are the relationships with each team member; are you struggling to connect with a team member etc. How could we engage better.
IT – this final one is about how your part of the business is going. Some quick news or headlines. Some recent wins or losses. No need to drill down into details.
