Confidence In The Kitchen Starts Here
Discover how our products are designed to support independence, stability and peace of mind for those living with Parkinson’s.
Living With Parkinson's is a Daily Balancing Act.
Parkinson’s affects near 18,000 people in Ireland, often bringing tremors, muscle stiffness and slow movement – making everyday tasks like lifting and pouring hot water both frustrating and risky.
Whether newly diagnosed or managing symptoms for years, these challenges can affect confidence and independence at home. That’s where the right tools make all the difference.
Designed With Your Hands - And Movements - In Mind
Uccello Kettle: Its tilt-to-pour design was made for unsteady hands. No lifting or balancing needed — reducing spills, burns, and worry when handling hot water. It brings back safe, steady control in the kitchen.
Uccello Grip Mat: Non-slip with extra grip to combat tremors or stiffness. Ideal for opening jars, holding items steady, and guiding your cup into the perfect pouring position.
Muggi Cup Holder: Tremors or stiffness can make carrying drinks risky. Muggi’s deep wells and non-slip base keep mugs secure, while wide grips make it easy to carry — reducing spills and stress.
“I used to dread making tea or coffee – the shaking hands made it feel like carrying lava across the kitchen.”
“Since getting the Kettle and Muggi, it’s a whole different story. I don’t need to grip or lifting anything heavy, and I’m not having to clean up spills every time I make a brew. It might sound small, but being able to do it myself – safely – means a lot. It’s one less thing Parkinson’s gets to take from me” – Gerry, Galway

Frequently Asked Questions:
Parkinson’s Support
Is the Uccello Kettle safe to use if I have hand tremors?
Yes. The tilt-to-pour design means you never need to lift or balance a full kettle. It remains steady in its base, and you simply tilt it forward for a controlled, precise pour — even with unsteady hands.
How do your products help if I have slow or stiff movements?
Our products are designed to reduce effort and support confidence. The kettle tilts easily with minimal movement. The Grip Mat holds items in place with minimal effort to avoid slipping. The Muggi helps carry drinks without worrying as it catches any drips or spills. Every feature is designed for ease, control, and independence.
What’s the easiest way to fill the Uccello Kettle?
You have two options:
1. Remove the kettle body and fill it at the sink like a regular kettle (it’s lightweight when empty).
2. Leave it in the base and fill it with a cup or small jug — this way you never lift the kettle full of water.
How do I make sure I’m pouring into the cup correctly with tremors?
There are two great methods:
1. Place your cup about an inch away from the kettle base (handle facing the kettle). This gives a close, controlled target.
2.Use the Uccello Grip Mat. Place the mat against the kettle’s front feet and rest your cup in the center ring. This helps guide your pour, no matter where the cup handle is.
Do the products work well together?
Yes. Many people living with Parkinson’s use the Uccello Kettle with the Grip Mat and Muggi for complete kitchen support — from pouring safely, to carrying drinks, to preventing slips. You can even buy them as a bundle on our website.
